Alyssa Flynn, LPC, RYT

Hey there, I’m Alyssa (she/her/hers), and I’m a therapist who believes in meeting people exactly where they are with curiosity, compassion, and zero judgement.

As a queer-affirming and neurodiversity-celebrating therapist, I believe in the power of authenticity—yours and mine—and in creating a space where you don’t have to leave any part of yourself at the door. Therapy with me is not about fixing what's broken, but about reconnecting with your own truth and building a life that feels aligned, empowered, and fully yours.

You may be navigating the impact of trauma, living with anxiety or overwhelm, exploring your identity, or simply craving a space where your experience is seen and honored. Whatever brings you here, you deserve care that is attuned to who you are—not just as a set of symptoms, but as a full, complex, unique human being.

My approach is client-centered and collaborative — I firmly believe that you are the expert on you. I integrate EMDR to support trauma processing, parts work to honor the many inner voices and experiences you carry, and somatic tools like yoga to reconnect with the wisdom of your body. I understand that healing isn’t linear—and that safety, consent, and autonomy are foundational.

Education: I received my Master of Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the CACREP-accredited counseling program at the University of Arkansas. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Arkansas (#P2503014) and a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200). I have been trained in EMDR by the EMDR Support Network and trauma-informed yoga by Mindfulness Connection.

Outside of the therapy space, I find grounding through yoga, experimenting in the kitchen (usually baking something involving chocolate), spending time with my people, and hiking with my partner and our dog, Rosco. My lived experience includes neurodivergence, interpersonal trauma, anxiety, and depression, which allows me to hold space more deeply for the folks that I work with.

If you're curious about working together, I’d love to hear from you!
